The US Air Force has contracted Rheinmetall for the supply of ammunition worth over US$6.5 million (6.2 € million) for the F-35 JSF.
Two successful product verification flight tests have recently been completed by Lockheed Martin’s Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) at the White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico. B-2 and B-52 bomber aircraft launched the JASSM missiles at altitudes greater than 24,000 feet.
