Qatar has entered into a Statement of Intent for the purchase of 24 Typhoon aircraft. The announcement was made during the visit to Qatar of UK Defence Secretary Michael Fallon.
V-280 Valor, the new fixed-wing tiltrotor aircraft from Bell Helicopters for the U.S. Army, will conduct its first flight this fall.
“The V-280 was designed to provide our military with the speed, range and operational productivity needed to complete any mission and outmatch every opponent,” Bell said in a press release.
